Personal Training in
Denver Highlands
GET STRONGER. MOVE BETTER. STAY CONSISTENT.
Strength Training Built For Real Life
The Mill Fitness is a personal training service based in the Denver Highlands, serving clients across Denver, CO. Inspired by the idea of a mill (where material is shaped and strengthened over time) training here is built on steady, intentional progress that supports a more capable and enjoyable life.
Programs are individualized around your goals, experience, and lifestyle. Whether you're a busy professional, a parent, a beginner, someone returning to the gym after time away, or simply someone with an active lifestyle looking to stay strong, we'll meet you where you are.
Whether you're preparing for ski season, improving body composition, training for an endurance event, or simply wanting to feel stronger in everyday life, your program is built around helping you reach those goals safely and consistently.
Our coaching meets you where you’re at with an emphasis on foundational strength, quality movement, and conditioning that supports long-term health. We help adults who are ready to put in the work build strength, move better, and develop habits they can actually maintain.
The private training space is conveniently located in LoHi, just a few blocks from Avanti. It's welcoming, ego-free, and designed to help you train with focus so you leave every session feeling stronger and more confident than when you arrived.

Meet Your Coach
Jonathan Miller, owner of The Mill Fitness, began his professional journey in fitness in 2020. He spent his first few years leading group classes before moving into the world of personal training in 2024.
As a former hockey player, he spent years in the gym training to be better on the ice, but over time, he realized that the gym is about so much more than just performance. It’s a foundation for a happier, healthier life, and that’s a shift in perspective he loves sharing with his clients.
With a background in Hospitality Management, Jonathan’s coaching style is all about the person, not just the program. He truly enjoys the “people” side of his work, focusing on building real connections and making sure that while you’re hitting your goals, you’re actually having a good time doing it.
Now, with The Mill Fitness, Jonathan has created exactly what he felt was missing: a welcoming, comfortable environment to get the results you’re looking for.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Personal training can be for anyone, but not for everyone. Personal training is especially valuable for beginners, people returning after time away, those working around injuries or limitations, anyone who wants personalized coaching, and people who need accountability to stay consistent.
-
We'll get started in three simple steps. 1. Fill out the form on the contact page. Once received, I will give you a call to discuss goals and ask any questions. 2. We'll schedule a complimentary introductory session so you can experience the training and decide if we're a good fit for each other. 3. We'll train regularly and start to see results.

Most clients train with me one to three times per week, depending on their goals, schedule, and budget. I recommend being active at least two to three times each week, whether that's with me or on your own. The more consistently you train, the faster you'll build strength and see progress.
-
We meet all of our clients exactly where they're at. If you are ready to put in the work and commit to your health, then you're ready to train with us no matter where you're starting.
-
Most clients start noticing improvements in energy, confidence, and strength within the first few weeks. Bigger changes in body composition and fitness take longer and come from staying consistent with both training and nutrition. There are no shortcuts, but the results are worth it.
-
Nope. There are no contracts or session packages required. We keep things simple with weekly billing so you can stay consistent without committing to a long-term agreement.
-
Yes. We currently offer partner training and private small-group training for up to four people. As The Mill grows, we'd love to expand those offerings even further.
